Q1: What services does Virostick Moving provide?

Virostick Moving & Storage offers services, residentially and commercially, tailored to the customer’s needs. Including, but not limited to, packing of household items or offices, loading and transportation along with staging at the new residence or facility. Each move is specific to the customer’s needs.

We also provide local and long distance moving. We are licensed to move anywhere within the 50 states. We are a dedicated moving company regardless of the customer.

No one shares the truck with anyone else preventing loss of items or questionable mishaps.

Q2: How do I get an estimate for my move?

Getting an estimate is easy! You can contact our customer service team, and they will guide you through the process. Or you can submit an online request. In the request you will need to provide the address you are moving from and relocating to along with a list of items you will have us take for you.

Planning Your Move:

Q4: How much advance notice should I give for scheduling my move?

It is advisable to contact us as early as possible. If you are working with a very specific date we advise 4-6 weeks.

 

Q5: Can I pack my own belongings for the move:

Absolutely! Again, every move is tailored to the customer’s specific needs.

 

Q6: Are there items that Virostick Moving & Storage cannot transport?

While we can transport most items, there are certain restricted items, such as hazardous materials, cleaners, paints etc that we are not allowed to transport.

 

Q7: How long will it take for my belongings to arrive at the destination if it is a long haul move(interstate).

The transit time varies based on the distance and specific details of your move. However, we are a dedicated moving company so we load and leave. If a customer is moving within 8 hours of their home we deliver the next morning.

 

Q8: Can I track the progress of my shipment during transit?

We go a step above the rest. You will receive the cell numbers of the driver and assistant when the furnishings are done being loaded. You can reach out to them at any time while your items are in transportation.

 

Q9: What happens if there are delays in the delivery of my belongings?

While we make every effort to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule, unforeseen circumstances like weather or traffic may cause delays. Rest assured, we will communicate any changes promptly and work to minimize any inconvenience. Many times the customer has knowledge of this prior to the driver and therefore we urge the customer to call the driver or assistant and let them know of any traffic hindrances etc.

 

Q10: How is the cost of an interstate move calculated?

The cost is determined based on various factors, including the distance of the move, the volume of items, and any additional services requested. Our transparent pricing ensures that you only pay for the services you need.

How is the cost of an intrastate (local) move calculated?

The cost is based on the labor hours used, rounded to the nearest ½ hour along with travel time and fuel. This empowers the customer who is on a limited budget and cannot afford to have us move small items like boxes, plant stands and odds and ends. When this is done by the customer it alleviates alot of time which adds up to money.

 

Q11: Are there any hidden fees in the pricing?

No, we believe in transparent pricing. The quote provided will outline all costs associated with your move. There are no hidden fees, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the pricing breakdown.

 

Q12: What payment methods does Virostick Moving & Storage accept?

We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, checks, and electronic funds transfers. Payment details will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.

In the rare event of an issue, please contact our customer service team immediately or bring it to the attention of the staff and we will try to resolve any issue on the spot. We do have a claims process that is gone over prior to the move.
